The Big Bang Fair Yorkshire and Humber 2018 begins on 26th June 2018 at Doncaster Racecourse. Pryor will be at the exhibition to help enthuse and inspire children to take up STEM careers (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics).
Pryor will be demonstrating the innovative new On-the-Fly High-Speed Laser Marking System to show visitors how tracking and tracing products throughout the supply chain is important for all manufacturers. Students will learn the importance of unique identification of products, what a 2D barcode is and how it can store manufacturing information. Students will also have a chance to use the Laser Marking System to make a unique identification mark on a pen which they can take home and keep.
The Big Bang events have united with partners under the Year of Engineering banner to help show engineering is crucial to a huge and diverse range of organisations and to demonstrate that many of the exciting activities young people are taking part in have a direct link back to engineering.
